Community Grocers

Launched in 2022, Sleaford Community Grocers provides its members with quality food at a fraction of the cost of a normal supermarket shop. Surplus produce is purchased and donated from food suppliers and supermarkets to the grocery. This produce comes to us for a variety of reasons such as being too close to its ‘best before’ dates or because of packaging mistakes. We then provide people with this produce through a membership scheme.

Mosaic Youth Hub

A few units down from the Community Grocers is Mosaic Youth Hub. This space offers young people in school years 7-13, in Sleaford and the surrounding areas, a home away from home, with the chance to meet and make new friends and take part in projects, workshops and activities such as arts & craft, games, cooking, console gaming and more.

We run weekly Youth Club and Soul Search sessions there, as well as after-school drop-in sessions and more.

Find out more on our Youth page or visit us on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter.

Time Coffee House

Launched in 2023, Time Coffee House is now open daily at the Riverside Centre, serving a selection of serving hot and cold drinks, and delicious homemade breakfast, sandwiches and cakes. Designed all around the theme of ‘Time’, the coffee shop has been created with a vision to provide a relaxing place where anyone can come and spend time with others; connect over a coffee or to take time out of life’s business to enjoy a tasty treat.

Connecting Well

Run by members of the community for the community, Connecting Well is a place of welcome and inclusion in partnership with mental health teams to improve mental and emotional wellbeing. It’s a safe space where it is OK not to be OK. Open Wednesdays from 9.30am - 12noon at the Riverside Centre, the Connecting Well runs a variety of hobbies, activities, and workshops for the community - all for free.

Tots and Tea

There’s a suggested donation of £1 per child for a drink, snack, and a hot drink.

Senior Citizens’ Events

Throughout the year we hold several meals for the senior citizens in our area. They provide great opportunities for the older generation to get together, and there’s loads of opportunities for volunteers to get involved too.

Our next Seniors’ meal will be announced in due course.

School Assemblies

We have regular opportunities to lead school assemblies in some of the primary schools local to our area. Our assemblies are filled with collective worship, laughter, puppets and great messages about the love of Jesus.

If you’re interested in our team visiting your school, please get in touch.
